Event Catering

From small, intimate get-togethers with friends and family to corporate events and (of course) weddings, South Catering provides a full-service experience. We work from beginning to end with each client to provide impeccable service. South Catering offers a variety of serving styles, which range from plated, buffet service, stations, and passed hors d’oeuvres. We work closely with each client and planner to make sure the menu goes perfectly with the look and feel of each gathering. All events are different. From rustic, southern weddings to coastal outdoor events or black-tie weddings, South Catering can do it all!

Cooking Classes (Private or Group)

Have you ever wondered how to make perfect, fluffy biscuits or amazing shrimp and grits? For the first time ever, Chef Matthew Register is offering private and group cooking classes.

Classes can be customized to suit your cuisine preferences, and during the class, Matthew will walk you through each step of the culinary process, to help you learn to create dishes that are sure to help you wow the guests at your next dinner party. Chef Matthew takes great pride in not only showing you how to prepare each dish, but also in explaining the history behind the cuisine you are preparing.

Private Chef

30 people or less

Very often, people would love to host a dinner party at their home but are overwhelmed with the menu planning, meal prep, and especially the cleanup. Don’t let those things deter you any longer. South Catering is here to help!

We will handle everything: helping you set a menu, shopping for ingredients, cooking the meal in your home, and most importantly cleaning up. During private chef experiences, we want you to sit back and enjoy your guests as you let us do all the work.
